Service and acceptance

FanWar is a global, public football fan leaderboard operated by the legal entity identified before launch in Australia. By submitting a backing payment, you request that the leaderboard participation service begin immediately and agree to these Terms and the Rules.

What backing means

Backing purchases participation in the public leaderboard by adding the successfully paid amount to a selected club's net total. It is not a charitable donation, equity, investment, ownership, gambling, a bet, lottery entry, prize purchase, or promise of financial return.

Rank is not guaranteed. Other participants may change any club's position at any time.

Pricing, currency, and payment

All prices and charges are in United States dollars (USD). Stripe processes payments. Your bank or card provider may apply exchange rates, currency conversion charges, or international transaction fees. Those provider charges are outside FanWar's control.

Refund policy

Because leaderboard backing is applied immediately, change-of-mind refunds are generally not offered after the service has been performed. Approved refunds reduce the relevant club's public total. This policy does not limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.

Names and acceptable participation

A display name and social handle are optional and may be shown publicly. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing, or impersonating content. FanWar may remove public identity text where reasonably necessary without altering the underlying financial ledger.

Availability and changes

We may correct errors, prevent abuse, maintain the service, and change or discontinue features. Verified payment and refund records remain the source of truth. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual property and affiliation

FanWar is unofficial and is not affiliated with or endorsed by clubs, leagues, federations, or governing bodies. Club names identify fan groups only. Official club badges and logos are not used.
