Service and acceptance

FanWar is a global, public ranking service operated by the legal entity identified before launch in Australia. Submitting a public identity or starting a purchase requests that the leaderboard service begin immediately and accepts these Terms.

Your use of FanWar, including boosts and leaderboard participation, is also subject to the FanWar Rules. The Rules form part of these Terms.

FanWar does not create user accounts, authenticate social identities, or create profile ownership or accept ownership claims. Every profile is a public leaderboard record linked to a user-submitted social identity.

Public identities, Boost Points, and Rank

Joining creates a public profile with 1 starting Boost Point. A target-only boost applies the purchased Boost Points once to the selected identity. When an optional matching boost is selected, equal Boost Points are applied to the server-resolved target and booster identities. Canonically equivalent identities receive one credit and no supporter edge.

US$1 adds 1 Boost Point. Boost Points are leaderboard score only. They have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred, redeemed, or sold, and do not guarantee a Rank, audience, exposure, or continued availability. Rank means the resulting leaderboard position.

Categories and rankings

A target and a separate booster may each receive purchased Boost Points in their independently selected categories. A self-boost receives one category credit only. Global and category Ranks are separate and can change whenever confirmed ledger entries are applied or adjusted. Ties use FanWar's published deterministic ranking rules.

Pricing, currency, and payment confirmation

All prices and charges are in United States dollars (USD). Stripe hosts checkout and processes payment details. A browser return or redirect does not confirm payment and never awards Boost Points. FanWar applies purchased Boost Points only after a verified Stripe webhook is matched to the server-created checkout attempt.

A bank or card provider may apply exchange rates, conversion charges, or international transaction fees outside FanWar's control.

Refunds and disputes

Completed purchases are generally non-refundable for change of mind, except where required by applicable law. When refunds are processed or a payment dispute removes funds, corresponding purchased Boost Points are removed from every affected profile and category. A failed refund or won dispute may restore those points. These terms do not limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.

Identity content and moderation

Public display names, platform identities, profile links, avatars, ranks, and activity may be displayed publicly. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing, privacy-invasive, or impersonating content. Profiles can be reported, corrected, limited, hidden, merged, or removed without changing the immutable payment ledger.

A listing does not mean that the named person submitted it, owns it, approved it, endorses FanWar, or is affiliated with FanWar.

Availability and changes

FanWar may correct errors, prevent abuse, maintain the service, and change or discontinue features. Stripe records and FanWar's append-only ledger are the payment and Boost Point source of truth. FanWar does not promise permanent, uninterrupted, or error-free availability.

FanWar is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any listed person or social platform. Platform names and marks identify public identity destinations; their appearance does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
