The competition

Rules

No mystery scoring and no judges. Successfully paid backing, net of refunds, decides the table.

Pre-launch configuration notice: operator identity and contact details must be completed and this wording reviewed before live payments or scaled promotion.

1. Back a club

Choose a listed football club and pay US$2 or more, up to the configured per-payment maximum. FanWar does not accept public club submissions.

2. Every successful dollar counts

Once Stripe confirms the payment, its USD amount is added to that club's public total. A browser redirect is not payment confirmation.

3. Highest total ranks first

The club with the highest net successfully paid backing is #1. Public totals use completed payments minus refunds.

4. Ties

If two clubs have the same total, the club that reached that total first remains above.

5. Refunds count backwards

Any refunded amount is removed from the club's leaderboard total, including partial refunds.

6. No prize, investment, bet, or ownership

Backing is paid participation in a public fan leaderboard. It is not a charitable donation, investment, wager, lottery ticket, ownership interest, or promise of a prize or financial return.

7. Rank is not guaranteed

Other fans can back any listed club at any time. A club's position can change immediately, and backing does not guarantee any particular rank or duration at that rank.

8. Currency

All amounts are charged in United States dollars (USD). Your bank or card provider may apply currency conversion or international transaction fees.

9. Payment confirmation

Only completed payments confirmed by a verified Stripe notification affect the leaderboard. Processing, failed, expired, or cancelled checkouts do not count.

Unofficial competition

FanWar is not affiliated with or endorsed by any club, league, federation, or governing body. Club names are used only to identify fan groups. No official badges or logos are used.
