FanWar Rules

1. How boosting works

A completed boost adds Boost Points to the selected FanWar listing. Unless a different conversion is clearly shown before payment, US$1 adds 1 Boost Point.

Boost Points are leaderboard score only. They are not money, stored value, credit, cryptocurrency, ownership, a prize, or a financial product. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, transferred for cash, or redeemed.

A listing's Rank is its leaderboard position, determined by its Boost Points relative to other listings. Buying Boost Points does not guarantee any particular Rank or amount of traffic, clicks, visibility, or exposure.

Rankings can change at any time when other users boost, when listings are added or removed, or when FanWar makes legitimate refunds, reversals, fraud adjustments, moderation actions, or corrections.

Where FanWar offers different leaderboard periods, each leaderboard is calculated independently according to the period shown in the interface.

2. Optional matching boost for your own profile

Some checkout flows may offer the purchaser an optional matching boost for their own FanWar profile. When selected, checkout shows exactly which profile receives the matching Boost Points and how many points will be added before payment.

The matching boost is part of the same purchase. It does not create a cash balance, referral commission, rebate, or right to receive money.

3. Public listings and identity

FanWar listings may be submitted by users or created from publicly available profile information. Unless FanWar explicitly marks a listing as verified, FanWar does not guarantee that it was created, claimed, approved, or endorsed by the person, creator, team, brand, company, or organisation shown.

A listing does not imply sponsorship, partnership, affiliation, endorsement, or approval by FanWar or by the platform to which it links. If a listing impersonates you, misuses your identity, infringes your rights, or contains prohibited content, use FanWar's report process.

4. External profile links

Listings may link to third-party websites or social platforms. FanWar does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, content, privacy practices, security, or actions.

Where possible, FanWar links to the submitted or resolved canonical profile URL and may remove tracking, referral, or unnecessary query parameters. A click from FanWar does not guarantee that the destination is authentic, safe, available, or controlled by the named person or organisation.

5. What can be listed

FanWar is intended for public-facing profiles, creators, teams, brands, products, organisations, communities, and similar supported listings. Listings must point to a legitimate public destination supported by FanWar.

FanWar may reject, hide, remove, merge, or correct listings that are duplicate, misleading, broken, abusive, deceptive, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with these Rules.

6. Prohibited use and abuse

Do not use FanWar to:

• impersonate another person or organisation in a misleading or harmful way;
• submit unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or otherwise prohibited content;
• promote malware, phishing, scams, credential theft, or unsafe destinations;
• manipulate FanWar through stolen payment methods, automated abuse, fake payment activity, coordinated fraud, or attempts to bypass limits;
• interfere with FanWar's security, availability, ranking, payment, or moderation systems; or
• violate applicable law or another person's rights.

FanWar may investigate, limit, suspend, remove, reverse, or correct activity reasonably believed to involve abuse, fraud, technical error, or a Rules violation.

7. Payments

Payments are processed through FanWar's payment provider. The amount, currency, selected listing, and Boost Points to be applied are shown before payment.

A payment is made to FanWar for the FanWar leaderboard service. It is not a donation or direct payment to the owner of the listing being boosted. Boost Points are applied only after FanWar receives confirmation of successful payment.

If a payment is cancelled, reversed, refunded, disputed, identified as fraudulent, or otherwise not successfully settled, FanWar may remove or adjust the related Boost Points.

8. Refunds and change of mind

Because Boost Points are normally applied shortly after successful payment, FanWar does not generally offer refunds for a simple change of mind once the Boost Points have been applied.

This does not exclude, restrict, or modify any refund, remedy, consumer guarantee, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

If FanWar makes an error, applies the wrong number of Boost Points, charges an incorrect amount, or a payment otherwise requires review, contact FanWar using the operator contact below. When a payment is refunded or reversed, FanWar may remove its Boost Points and recalculate affected leaderboard positions.

9. Payment disputes and chargebacks

If you do not recognise a payment or believe it was processed incorrectly, contact FanWar using the operator contact below so the transaction can be reviewed.

Nothing in these Rules prevents a customer from exercising rights available through their payment provider or under applicable law. FanWar may preserve payment, checkout, ranking, and audit records needed to investigate disputes, fraud, refunds, reversals, or technical errors.

10. Moderation and leaderboard integrity

FanWar may take reasonable action to protect leaderboard integrity and user safety. This can include correcting duplicate listings, removing prohibited listings, reversing fraudulent or erroneous Boost Points, consolidating duplicate profiles, resolving broken links, or correcting technical errors.

Where a moderation or integrity action affects leaderboard totals, positions may change. FanWar does not guarantee that a leaderboard will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently preserve a particular position.

11. Availability and changes

FanWar may add, remove, or change supported platforms, categories, leaderboard periods, ranking presentation, anti-abuse systems, and product features.

Material changes to payment meaning or Boost Point calculation must be clearly disclosed before a future payment. Changes will not retroactively turn previously purchased Boost Points into a different financial product, cash balance, or redeemable asset.

12. Privacy

FanWar's handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Terms

These Rules form part of the conditions for using FanWar and should be read together with the FanWar Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

If there is a conflict between these Rules and the Terms of Service, the Terms govern to the extent of the conflict, subject to applicable law.
